Mladen Lukić

Mladen Lukić, was born in Subotica in 1983. Already as a very young baby, he was compelled to make music because he was "terrorized" by his grandmother who, by the way an opera singer, sang nursery rhymes in her opera voice.

He finished music school in Subotica on sections of musical theory, piano and trombone. He nearly included singing section also, but he did not want to call for "madness". He graduated from the Department of trombone at the Music Academy in Belgrade. Currently, he is doing his specializing thesis.

He is the winner of numerous international and domestic prizes for trombone and composition of theater music. He is also singing for a long time, in various cartoons of international production, commercials ... He had his debut with Balkanika in 2007, as a member of the Symphony Orchestra of Radio Television Serbia. He always had a desire to become a member of Balkanika.

He came to Balkanika in 2014 as the first male solo vocal from the beginning of group and has already made his great contribution to the new album "Stand Up". Within the group he also plays trombone and together with the trombone music of Kojot contributes to the fully authentic sound.
